Parkinson Food Services operates a delivery service to all types of catering and food processing establishments. Our aim is to provide a consistently high quality and reliable service, supplying first class produce to you, the customer. We have paid much attention to detail and we are constantly looking for better ways of satisfying our customers, as we endeavor to become the best at what we do in the area in which we operate.

All our suppliers are aware of our need for top quality Class 1 produce. This awareness has been established over long working relationships. Produce is delivered directly from importers, growers and agents, mainly during the night hours, which is then examined by our buyer and Warehouse Manager. Any produce that does not meet the required specification is separated from the good and marked for disposal or return, with appropriate comments made on delivery documentation for later processing.

All produce is stored in appropriate locations, mainly under chilled conditions. In all cases produce is kept in off-the-floor, well ventilated and pest free areas. Any produce that is not dispatched on the day of receipt is subject to daily quality checks. The chilled packing area maintains the best possible condition of the produce.
